Moister Diablo, a Guinean Anthropology student at the American University in Cairo (AUC), was arrested on 30 April in Gambia where he was conducting research for his masters thesis on transnational migration.
Diablo accused the Gambian National Intelligence Agency of the threat to national security and to spread revolutionary ideas.
After his arrest, he had been in prison a week and then questions the prisoner. It has been reported that Diablo was persecuted, just because before the Guinean government. On June 28, he was taken into custody where he was told by the government that cases of terrorism were pending against him.
